Monday Morning Moan

Just thought I would have a little moan this morning.

I was on the boat from about 5pm on Sarturday till 8am this morning and in general had a great weekend. Sunday's weather was exellent and we cruised up to Luss to have some lunch. Tied up to the pier and lazed for a while..........................then the W****rs appeared ( You know who you are coz I told you).

The inconsiderate tossers can see you are tied up and still come is far too fast and before you get a chance to grab your drinks the boat it bouncing off the pier in thier wake.

Now i'm not just talking about a few young posers........these guys were older and should know better ...........and not just one, I had to have words with 3 different boaters.
Then there was the Jetskier who thought it would be fun to buzz my boat, just a bit too close. Well if you are out there did the water taste a bit funny this weekend ?

It was a lovely day on Friday as well.
Just glad we took the big frame tent this time as saturday was a bit driech!

All in all WE had a great weekend as well.

I thought the water in the Loch tasted a bit off. Paul I know the feeling we had the same issue at Inchmurrin on Sunday with a water skier trying to get as close as possible to the jetty and the boaters who just pass the jetty at speed. Then the two jetskiers at the marina who showed no respect for the 5 mph speed limit or the speemd restricted area outside the marina. I had words with the and I believe a member of staff also spoke to them.
And I to had my jetskie on the loch from Thursday to Saturday and it a 4 stroke alot quieter, but I mainly go out early in the morning with no boats on the Loch just for a bit of fun and the water is flat calm. Then it is time to come in as the idiots hit the water and buzz boats all day long. Luss is bad for the posers in speedboats and jetskies, so I try and give it a wide berth unless I am their during the week when it is alot quieter.

Anyway I sailed upto Rossdhu and just moored at Rossdhu mooring buoy on Saturday night for a bit of peace and quietness until six in the morning on Sunday when you here is just lawn mowers at Loch Lomong Golf Club for a few hours. Then we cruised over to Inchmurrin at lunch time for a few hours with the missus at the helm for the first time and she did OK and managed to get the boat on plain. Will try her out on docking next weekend

John is that wise.......................if she can dock it and drive it.....................next thing she'll be taking her mates out and waving back to you on the dockside........

Talking of jerks on a jet ski, I was down fitting a replacement light to the galley area when a yob with Two girl passengers from near the cross over from A to B leg (B leg end) went past at a stupid rate of knots, I didnt catch him that time but I will if I see him again.

Just to keep things correct I have to say the girls went out a couple of times before him & observed the speed limit.
