| Was supposed to be camping tonight but the forcast for tommorrow ain't that great so just went out for a few hours this afternoon. The water was at least 3 feet deeper than normal, all sand was submerged on inchmoan north beach. Had a wee putter around the marina as well, seen a few of the forum members boats. I seen one which is on the end closest to Balloch & also on the row closest to the shore, I think the guy has his ropes too tight as the boat is kinda leaning in towards the pontoon either that the boat is filling with water. Anyway, I had a nice few hours on the water that never fails to de-stress. | |

| Think the Loch is now as high as it is in the winter, someone told me that Balmaha's jetties were under water..

| There is a very good chance Balmaha jetties were under water as the concrete part of the jetty at DMMS was inly about 8" above the water. I've only ever seen it like that in the winter. | |

Anyway, I had a nice few hours on the water that never fails to de-stress. You may be referring to my boat as she leans to one side due to having a built in generator on the port side. I just get the passengers to sit on the starboard side to balance it up a bit. John

Must be some generator mate Nae red in the colour scheme as it is a sealine s34. The leg nearest to the break water second finger from the end on the inside, but she does list a bit beer included. John

| Nah! Jim That wasn't me, I just headed up the narrows over to Millarochy Caravan park to chech a couple of things out then round Inchlonaig, back down in between Inchtavannach & Inchconnachan. Seen a tent under about a foot of water at Inchtavannach just at the south end as you turn right inbetween Inchtavannach & Inchmoan, at the shore where there always is around 4 old cruisers all the time. Headed down to the NE shore of Inchmurrin, bobbed about there for 15 mins or so then headed down to cameron house to see if I recognised any forum users boats & to say Hi if they were there. The only folk I seen were a large party heading out on a bigger Regal than I have, I doubt it was a forum user as the skipper struggled to give me a nod of the head never mind a quick wave, it was only when I shouted to him pointing to my boat "Baby Sister" that the guy let on I was even there. So if in the unlikeliness that the guy is a forum member but if you are, did all your party at least have a lifejacket on board for them or was it a case of If anything goes wrong everybody grab this only lifejacket? Anyway there are some cracking boats there that are wasted on LL & they should be in the med doing nothing rather than on LL doing nothing I will manage to say Hi to some of you in the future no doubt. | |

| Anjo, I'm possitive it was the next pontoon in from yours smaller than a S34 anyway, I'm sure I seen yours as well Looking good but was yours the one that has the dried up weed hanging off the bow anchor? | |

| Hi SP, I noticed your boat a long time ago, Long before I joined this forum. You said 2 boats with the welsh flag so The one that stood out to me which I'm almost possitive is yours is BUOYO! with the wee smiley face in the O, Big picture of mother in law just under the windscreen (welsh dragon) & a small welsh flag on the bow railing. I'm even more convinced now that, that is your boat that I've admired for ages. I'm not Welsh, I have not a drip of Welsh in my blood but my wifes nephews live in Tenby S Wales. I love the Welsh people, My 2 all time favourite bands come from Wales, Catatonia & Stereophonics. My boat is named Cerys after Cerys Matthews of Catatonia, Who is IMHO the the best female singer in the world. Many think she just screeches but I love her voice. Did you know Cerys means to Love or Loved one in Welsh? I did not know this till long after I named My boat but the name really suits My next boat which won't be till I can't be bothered putting up a tent so I can sleep aboard will be called "Local Buoy" Which is after one of my favourite Stereophonics songs "Local boy in the photograph" Just look out for this ugly MOFO (the boat) on Inchmoan south beach or just cutting about on the water | |

| Hi Z You know if you had an anchor or a rope you would'nt have to stand in the water and hold your boat all day. | |

| ha ha carboss, You should be on the telly............... beside the scary picture of your mother in law If you look closely at the pic just in view on the right hand side you will see my mobile mooring, an inflatable "diver underwater" buoy which is attached to a big IKEA bag filled with sand. My space is booked everywhere I go. The anchor & chain is in the bow locker which I only use in deep water & wrapping round the necks of people trying to be smart Oh! & Hi, back | |
