Guys

Fuel dock will be closed from the 7th June for 3 weeks whilst contarctors start to carry out work. So no diesel will be available so fill up now before the 7th if you intend to use your boat.

Was up today and put some petrol in the boat.
The marina let me borrow three 20 ltr cans and a funnel.

I'm glad than nobody else was using them at the time as it took about 40 minutes to go fill them and empty them in the boat and that will be a nightmare if its busy so next time I will take my own.

I'm used to using this type of equipment but would suggest that anyone who is not will need someone to hold the funnel as most fuel inlets are at an angle on the boat and the funnel won't stay upright. I had to use a piece of rubber to wedge it up.

60 Ltrs only put a quarter of a tank in and i don't want to do that too often with cans.........too much like hard work No

Hi Paul. I used the jerry cans a few weeks ago and there was a proper spout that clamped on to the cans making it much easier to use than a funnel. it may still be at the office
