PostSubject: putting up the mast   Fri Jun 15, 2012 8:34 am

I am looking to buy a 28ft sail boat from down south and have it brought up by trailer. Obviously for the transport journey it will need to have the mast dropped. Is there anywhere on the loch with crane services to put it back up again?

Riverside Marina have a crane.. Ardlui and Cameron have hoists..

Yep.. but you might be able to tow it with the mast up from there to the slipway at Balloch.. long shot... its the only crane I know of... either that or try Ardlui or Cameron to see if they can do it with the hoists

Best Regards
