New boat power slipway 2 minutes from the marina

The Maid of the loch has adapted it's power slipway to provide a new facility for power boats up to 60ft. It can take up to four boats at a time, which can save 30%. The prices start at £300 which includes assistance from the steamship team. Your boat can be cleaned, painted and repaired over a week-end. A small charge is made to stay out for extra days. It is safe with security lights. There is power wash and electric shore power. All the proceeds go to the Maid of the Loch restoration charity fund. You would need an overdraft at those prices, It would be more cost effective to sail to Ardlui for a liftout & jet wash with facilities far superior to the Maid of the Loch.

What happens if your the first boat on & you want off before the last boat.???

Sorry mate but that does not seem like a good deal to me.

However I can see the Maid of the Loch is a worthy charity & I have spent several afternoons having a coffee & bun while enjoying the scenery

Colin at the marina told me a while back that they were building a lift at CH after August. Has anybody else heard this and give any info ?

Its not CH thats building/providing the boat lift/cran, its big niel the mclymont the boat engineer that is footing the bill for this as its his project....i believe he is having some set-up problems/delays etc at the moment but he is not to far away in having this completed.

is that something to do with the new ramp at the end of the marina road ?

will be paul....neil seems to be doing the site construction prep works himself whilst waiting for the cran to be buit/completed and delivered.

Spoke to Neil ref cran, Yes a little delayed at moment but will be up before end of season.

Price simillar to Ardlui plus a jet wash available.
