E Mail scam

Hi Craig,

Not sure how this got to me but assume others have this also.

Does this person have to register to get our addresses via the forum, If so can you get rid of it ??

Dear, since my present condition will not allow me handling my promise to the house of the Lord, I decided to donate this funds (8.920 million Euros) which is the only inheritance funds from my beloved husband that is under my name as the next of kin, which his entire family does not know anything about the deposited funds by my husband and will never and never know, hence their evil maltreatments to my life immediately after the funeral of my husband. Now, this money is still with the financial institution where my husband deposited the funds and registered it as charitable belongings. I know that after you finish reading this message, it will be difficult for you to believe due to volume of amount that is involved but as a Christian
that worship God in trust and Spirit, I want you to go into prayers, seek the face of God in order to have his confirmation over his divine directions to a sister that you have never seen before in all your life (The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, Psalm 28:7). I strongly believe that the good God who directed me to you as the rightful person to handle this donation funds will surely speak to your hearing and understanding. Call to me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3).

I wait for your reply with your personal information, full name, home address and telephone number including your ID immediately after your communication with God who is able to open things of the secret to everyone that obey his commandments and work in his glorious ways, so that I will handle it to my late husband’s lawyer for him to obtain a change of ownership of documents covering this money at the financial institution to your name as the new beneficiary chosen by God to use for the survival of poor people. Praying for my situation is the most essential thing I need from you now as my fellow brethren in the Lord.

Thats quite worrying, sorry to anyone who has received this. Was it only through PM the message was sent or was it by e-mail aswell? I'm the only one who has access to e-mail addresses so this hopefully shouldn't be the case or I've got something really wrong!

I have now changed the settings of the forum so that anyone who registers has to be approved by admin before their account is activated. The offending user has also been 'removed'.

Let me know if anything else comes up!

Never got that one either. Must have been one of the lucky ones.

I have heard of spam mail being sent on other forums, but admin are quick to block the offenders.

More likely the offender original origin is in Nigeria wher most of these scams originate asking for details. Praise thee the Lord Amen
