Does anyone know a number for a reputable company that re-covers boat seats. The seam in my rear bench seat is starting to come apart.
I live in stirling, so as local as possible to that. Glasgow is no problem to travel

Try

http://www.covercraftindustrial.com/

He made my cover for my last boat - very good quality of work.

I had a quote from Covercraft last year for a new set of hoods...after a few "fail to traps" the guy came out. He measured up and said his sister in law would phone me back the next day with a price. He told me not to accept her price and to let him know how much it was....he would then do me a "cash deal" on the side.

About 3 weeks later I got a call from Mrs.Covercraft........ £2400. Shocked needless to say I didn't phone back.I've put up with my "old" hoods...they're not that bad.

Try Forth Marine Textyles, loads of people down at Largs swore by them. Or why not have a go at them yourself with a good sewing machine??

Well covercraft still ain't got back to me.
Gerry from FMT has e-mailed me with an estimate that seems to be reasonable so I'll probably take it through to him next week

Try Union Upholsterers in Larbert just off the main road as they did a good job at recovering one of my seats and made an addidtional seat pad for a step.

Best to supply the vinyl as that will keep the cost down.

Roddy from Covercraft has now registered as a member to this forum so why not PM him.
