I was breaking it up in the rib at the weekend at Ardlui... bow rides over the top of it and breaks its, its not that thick so cant see it doing any damage... certainly not going forward.. you could bend a trim tab or damage a prop in reverse if you hit a big enough bit though... or even foul a water intake and cook and engine..
