I'm getting my son a 2.7m honwave air V floor dinghy with a honda BF5 outboard for his christmas, but what I'm not sure of is whether I should stick his numbers straight onto the boat or make up a wooden board that will take the numbers & just hang them over the side of the boat. The dinghy will be Inflated & deflated on a regular basis so would the numbers come loose. has anyone else got the numbers on their tenders & do they keep it Inflated or do they pack it away after use, if so does the numbers stay on ok

Definitely get boards. We tried sticking them straight on the the dinghy at first and they just crinkled up and fell off if it ever deflated slightly! The park authority will give you some hard plastic plates at the office where you collect the numbers, only £5 or something. These can easily be attached to the dinghy with a bit of elastic or similar.

Cheers

Just the answer I was Looking for admin. I had actually forgot about the plastic backing board that is used mostly for the numbers going on the bow rails of boats. Cheers mate Smile
